Mousing 101- Mouse Flies: Karakashian's Gurgler

I have several posts written already for this series, but need to put some finishing touches to them. In the meantime here is a great night time pattern by eminent Pere Marquette river guide John Karakashian. He guides for Baldwin Bait and Tackle last I checked. His patterns are simple yet effective, so feel free to check his other patterns out on Youtube also.

This is the first mouse pattern I ever tied and I've caught several big fish on it. Give it a try and definitely tie some color and size variations. It's deathly cold here in the North country right now, but nothing will set you right like tying for July.

Here it is.
