Gear Reviews

I had determined from the start that I would review gear on this site.  This was before I knew about the gear giveaways at the Outdoor Blogger Network (members only) or the fact that manufacturers occasionally give out gear to test.  Some of these reviews are of gear I bought myself,  some I won through the OBN giveaways, and some from gear sent me by manufacturers.  All reviews reflect my honest opinion.  Gear is essential to the fly fishing experience, and good gear makes it that much more enjoyable.  I'm not a brand loyal person, but when I find good, well made equipment, I want to share it with others, especially when it's at a reasonable cost.
